Fundación CIDAUT participated, as in previous years, in TRANSFIERE, the major international forum on R&D&I and Knowledge Transfer held in Málaga. This edition took place from February 24 to 26 and included a round-table discussion on advanced materials in which CIDAUT took part.
CIDAUT was present at the joint stand of FEDIT (the Spanish Federation of Technology Centers), together with 20 other Technology Centers that form part of the federation, reinforcing its role as one of the main drivers of technology transfer, knowledge generation, and applied research in Spain.
TRANSFIERE 2026 brought together more than 4,700 professional visitors, over 600 entities, companies and public administrations, 65 national and international universities, and more than 430 expert speakers representing 36 countries. This year, Korea participated as the guest country, promoting international cooperation and knowledge exchange between Europe and Asia.
This broad participation helped highlight and strengthen the role of companies and R&D entities—including technology centres and universities—in fostering knowledge transfer and building an innovation‑based economy. The event facilitated the identification of innovative projects, the creation of strategic alliances, and the advancement of public‑private collaboration.
To promote a more efficient working environment, dedicated meetings were organised among participating organisations, enabling the definition of collaboration strategies and enhancing interaction between teams from different institutions across the R&D&I ecosystem.

Finally, Dr. Paula Bucci, representing CIDAUT, took part in the round table on Advanced Materials in the Science Room. The session offered insights into innovations in advanced and sustainable materials, which are essential for industrial transformation, energy efficiency, and the circular economy.
