A clean revolution is quietly taking place on Europe’s roads and hydrogen fuel cells can be part of this change. There has recently been a significant leap in terms of technology, cost and infrastructure and it seems this trend will continue over the coming years. In this context, infrastructure development plays a crucial role in the deployment of clean mobility solutions. Last March, there have been several opportunities to discuss about hydrogen and the transport sector and CIDAUT participated actively on them.

Technical Workshop: “Hydrogen in the transport sector: infrastructure and vehicles”

In the context of the Energy and Environment International Trade Fair, Genera 2017, CIDAUT Foundation participated with an oral presentation in the Technical Workshop “Hydrogen in the transport sector: infrastructure and vehicles”. The event was jointly organized by the Spanish Hydrogen Association (AeH2) and the Spanish Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology Platform (PTE HPC). In the presentation, it was reviewed the most significant applications of hydrogen in the transport sector such as buses, ships, railway, handling vehicles o even lightweight planes.

Double Infoday: JTI-FCH2 2017 Call and the Hydrogen Sector in Spain

The Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI), together with the Spanish Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology Platform (PTE HPC) organized on March 10, 2017, an event with a two-fold objective: to review the active Call for proposals of the JTI-FCH2 under H2020 Program and also the Hydrogen sector in Spain, from R&D and innovation, to production, storage and infrastructures. CIDAUT participated with the presentation “Hydrogen supply infrastructures in the transport sector”, where the different types of infrastructure were presented and analysed, together with key aspects in the infrastructure deployment.
